I know! it's too bad that something so good for us has to be so high in calories. Try using nuts or nut butter as a substitute for something else. With fruit instead of cheese, or PB on whole wheat as a snack.

I need to be reminded to eat more nuts! The problems with folks like me who have to watch their weight - is I tend to go for more volume of food for the calorie. 28 Peanuts or a half a turkey sandwich? Maybe I could go a quarter turkey and a half handful of peanuts!
