20 Clean Eating Recipes That Aren’t Salad
Clean eating means putting lots of whole and plant foods on your plate, but that doesn't mean you're limited to salads. These delicious recipes are proof!
Happy New Year dear friends! Let's all quickly detrain the Christmas cookie express, and jump aboard the clean eating train for the next 11 months, PLEEEEASE?!! Says the one who polished off the last of the Christmas cookies, candies and cakes, and New Years leftovers, and took down all signs of the holidays yesterday. Sigh. It's over. House back in order, and fridge empty of treats, and full of only good-for-me foods.

I don't know about you, but I'm so ready to flood my body with only nourishing foods for at least a few weeks, along with some serious time back at the gym. I've had a fridge full of wine, cheese, and sweets, a house full of guests for several weeks, quite a few dinners out. It's time to get healthy and back in shape.
The words "clean eating" often conjure up images of lots of lettuce and carrots, and other types of foods that rabbits would die for. But that does NOT need to be the case, as the following amazing healthy, clean, and delicious meals demonstrate.
Happy New and Healthy Year friends!! What clean foods are you eating this month?
Eat well!

Hi Anne! Wow, it is August of 2020 and I can’t wait to make these healthy & clean eating meals that aren’t salads!!! I’m a student @ Cornell University studying Nutrition and Healthy Living to learn more about my T2D (genetic) diagnosis a year ago. Please know your genetics so you can make healthy food choices & I haven’t been sick once eating plant based meals! I feel fantastic! Thank you SO much & I’ll come back with feedback after I make your recipes! Truly, thank you
So many good ideas here-- I think that it helps to have extra recipes on hand especially in January when the focus is solidly on healthy eating. I have to admit, though, that I still love a cookie to go with my healthy greens!
Ha ha! I think as long as you're eating your greens, a cookie or two is just fine!
Such a fun list of recipes!
Thanks so much for visiting Amy!
